Bhumika Chawla exposes she was replaced in “Jab We Met“ Movie

Bhumika Chawla is presently enjoying the release of her latest movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She reunified with Salman Khan after their fruitful television pairing in the 2003 movie Tere Naam. Despite the movie’s success, Bhumika appeared in fewer films thereafter.

In a recent interview, she revealed that she was replaced in movies even after the success of Tere Naam. She mentioned that she was offered roles in Jab We Met and Munna Bhai MBBS but things didn’t work out due to unknown reasons.

Bhumika Chawla made her Bollywood debut with Tere Naam, directed by Satish Kaushik, and played the lead role, Salman Khan. However, despite the movie’s success, she did not receive numerous proposals for roles. During an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Bhumika shared that she got many offers after Tere Naam but unfortunately, none of them panned out.

She said: “I got many offers. I have continuously been discerning and fussy about what I do. After that I signed a big movie and inappropriately the production changed, then the hero changed and the title of the movie changed. Then the heroine also changed. But if I did, it would be different.

So they said, jo likha hai, woh hota hai. I waited for that film for a year and didn’t sign any other film. Later I signed another film which also didn’t happen. It’s like betting, you don’t distinguish when and which movie will work.’

The actress revealed that she felt bad after Jab We Met didn’t ensue. She talked about how she and Bobby Deol were replaced in the Imtiaz Ali directorial. Bhumika Chawla added, “The only time I fingered bad was when I signed Jab We Met and it didn’t ensue.

Then it was Shahid Kapoor and me, and then Shahid and Kareena Kapoor. That’s how things happened, but that’s okay. I only felt bad once and then never again because I just kept going. I don’t think much about it. I signed up for Munna Bhai MBBS but it didn’t end. Kannathil Muthamittal with Mani (Ratnam) Sir, it didn’t happen.

” Bhumika Chawla shared that Rajkumar Hirani told her the reason why she was replaced in his movie after 10-12 years.” He told me the reason after 10-12 years when we met at one place. He said, ‘Because of somebody’s fault, you were detached from the movie’. But it’s okay. That’s what’s happening here too.”
