Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Riyan Parag was in fantastic form in the just-concluded Guwahati Premier League. As he made a bold prediction for himself ahead of the upcoming season, the youngster expects his purple patch to continue in IPL 2023.

Earlier today, Parag wrote on Twitter that he felt he would hit four sixes in one over during IPL 2023. According to the all-rounder:

“My inner conscience says that I am hitting 4 sixes in an envelope at some point in this IPL…”

Riyan Parag received praise on Twitter for his bold prediction ahead of IPL 2023. Many of them believed that he would break four sixes in one over during one of the IPL games. Some even opined that he could break six sixes one at a time.

On the other hand, some fans also trolled it, reminding that the level of bowling in the IPL is higher than in other domestic tournaments. It will be interesting to see if Riyan Parag’s prediction comes true in IPL 2023.

Riyan Parag will play an IPL match at his stadium for the first time this year

In IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals will return to Sawai Man Singh Stadium for the first time since 2019. Five of their seven home matches will be played in Jaipur. The Royals will play their other two home games at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
