David Lemanowicz’s Educational Background

The common notion goes that sportsmen are usually not study-oriented. They are thus not too educated. One may be surprised to know that such is not the case with Lemanowicz. He did his schooling at a local high school in Vancouver. His interest in hockey started in his high school years too. David did his graduation from the University of Toronto in International Relations. He also has a degree in Global Security from the ROTC program. ROTC stands for Reserve Officer Training Group. On top of that, David also completed a leadership course at Fort Louis.

The Road to His Career

David Lemanowicz has had a great career in both hockey and US Military. Serving as a pro player of ice hockey in various teams, he served the American Military for about a decade as Lt. David Lemanowicz. In his hockey career, David faced numerous highs and lows. He started up his sports career at the age of 19 with Florida Panthers in National Hockey League in 1995. He contributed wins in over 50 matches for his team. He called his regular hockey career a quit after playing for three pro seasons including NHL, WHL, and AHL.

He enrolled himself at the University of Toronto for graduation. There he played ice hockey for about 2 years and also coached the team for the other two years. Thereafter he played for several other teams including Elmira Jackals, Laredo Bucks, Austin Ice Bats, etc. He also worked as a tour guide for a few years after quitting Hockey.
