Vaping CBD Oil Explained!

Here we explain all about vaping CBD and why you sometimes need a marijuana vape pen

Vaping is considered to be the fastest and the most effective way of taking cannabis. Compared to other mediums, it has the highest bioavailability which is the proportion of the actual intake of something that enters your bloodstream for an active effect.

This is mainly due to the large surface area of your lungs which quickly absorbs a good amount of the inhaled content, thus giving you instant effects. Plus, it’s safer than smoking!

All cannabis products here are strictly made using CBD- the medicinal bit of cannabis, and not THC, the compound that is known for its psychoactive effects, or the “high”, and which may be legal in other countries like in the US.

Moving on, vaping requires two things- a vaping device such as a cannabis vape pen, and vape oils such as CBD vape oils, or CBD e-liquids.

Remember, vape oils are not to be confused with other edible oils like  CBD oral drops and tinctures. These oils are made for direct oral consumption, not vaping.

Like I said, vaping can only be done using CBD vape oils or CBD e-liquids.

CBD e-liquid is basically the traditional vaping e-liquid base (a PG/VG mix) blended with CBD, meaning it has a similar consistency and thus can be vaped using any vaping device.

CBD vape oils, on the other hand, would not work in most of the old vaping devices since they are much thicker and stickier than CBD e-liquids.

That’s because CBD vape oils do not have any carrier oil in them. They tend to be just distillate hemp extracts, natural terpenes, and nothing else,  making their consistency way more viscous. As a result, they require more heat for the CBD content to be melted down, vaporised, and inhaled.

So to be able to vape high-strength CBD vape oils, you must have an advanced vaping device such as a cannabis vape pen which may also be known as a marijuana vape pen in the US, or a CBD vape pen here in the UK.

Unlike traditional vaping devices and apparatuses, modern vape pens are specifically built to be a lot more powerful and offer some really cool features and functions that may vary from brand to brand.

Here are some of the features to look for adjustable voltage settings, preheat functionality, automatic activation, and cartridge replacement.
