Linda Kolkena was born in 1961. Linda Kolkena was a famous Delta Airlines flight attendant for American Airlines. Linda had four sisters and was the youngest. Linda met Dan Broderick in 1983 when Linda was 21 years old and working as a receptionist. They began a poorly kept affair and Betty Broderick strongly suspected that her husband was cheating on her. Dan refused and filed for divorce in 1985. Dan and Betty’s divorce was final in early 1989.

Linda and Dan wasted no time getting married once the divorce was finalized. They were married on April 22, 1989, according to The Sun, at their home in San Diego. By this time, Linda was increasingly concerned that Betty was a real threat and urged Dan to wear a bulletproof vest to their wedding.

In the months after their wedding, Linda wanted to get a restraining order against Betty, but Dan refused. Less than seven months after their wedding, Betty broke into Dan and Linda’s home in San Diego and shot them dead with a gun she had just purchased. The bullets hit Linda in the neck and chest. Dan was hit in the back. Both died in bed. Linda was only 28 years old.
