Know All About the NEET UG 2022 Exam

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a premier entrance exam for MBBS, AYUSH, veterinary and nursing courses in India. The NEET 2022 exam is conducted in 13 different languages, and this year the exam is expected to be held on 17th July 2022.
The NEET 2022 registration begins on 6th April 2022 and will end on 6th May 2022. Applicants must submit a passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and Class 10th passing certificate to enrol for the exam.

NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality:
The following national citizens are eligible to appear for the exam:
- Indian Nationals
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
- Foreign Nationals
2. Age Limit:
Candidates must fulfil the following age criteria to be eligible for NEET 2022:
- As of 31st December 2022, a candidate’s minimum age should be 17 years.
- According to a recent notification issued by the authorities, there is no upper age limit and candidates older than 25 years of age would be eligible to apply for NEET 2022.
3. Educational qualifications:
NEET aspirants must meet the following educational requirements:
- Candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent.
- Candidates who are appearing for the Class 12 exam or equivalent in summer 2021 can also apply for the NEET UG 2022.
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent from an open school are also eligible.
Please note that the candidate must have cleared Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their subjects.
Application fee and cut off marks
Candidates can apply for the NEET UG 2022 exam online through the official NEET website. The category-wise NEET 2022 application fees are given in the below table:

NEET 2022 Exam Pattern
NEET UG Exam pattern for 2022 has undergone some changes owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Major changes have been noticed in the total number of questions and section structure. However, other factors such as the total duration, mode of the exam, and marking scheme remained the same.
