- Whole Grains
If you had a problem with white flour and white rice previously with piles due to constipation, you can easily replace them with some fiber-rich whole grains. This may include barley, rye, brown rice, oats, and quinoa.
- Vegetables
The roots, stalks, and leaves of several vegetables overflow with fiber. Broccoli, parsnips, green peas, acorn squash, carrots, and collard greens are some of the vegetables that you can add to your diet to boost fiber consumption. Potato skins and cucumber peels are also excellent sources of dietary fiber. All of these can be extremely helpful in painful piles.
- Nuts
To improve the symptoms of piles and prevent the same from recurrence, you can add walnuts, almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts, peanuts, macadamias, and pecans to your diet. They are high in fiber and have strong anti-inflammatory properties, which minimize the tissue swelling in the area/s where you had piles previously.
